On observation Oreca still have the 2008 rear wing on their car in that picture, The Aston Martin is such a great looking car though, it does look like a modern interpretation of the Porsche 917 though, a great looking car, looks very much like a Group C proto. The OAK racing Pesca paint scheme as well looks like a corker but its not as nice as last year White, Green and Black.

What's with the blue (or almost violet, or then its just the JPG compression) colour? Not the Gulf blue, but air intake and those stripes.

Hugues De Chaunac has told Endurance-Info.com to expect a surprise addition to Oreca's driver line-up tomorrow. Sounds like it's a big name, but I may be wrong.

On DSC there is picture of the LAA Corvette with green LMS number plates and the IMSA Porsche and Modena Ferrari with yellow LMS number plates, is this a new reg for LMS?

I believe that I do remember hearing about that being new for this season. I believe that the P1 cars will have red and P2 cars will have blue. It's the same colors we've been running in the ALMS to differentiate the classes. We also have the same color scheme for the leader lights, so that will likely carry-over as well.

From the Paul Rickard site :-
"During the 2 test days, some cars will be carrying out a 24 hour simulation. Be an exclusive guest on the first test day. "

Pegasus' car? Are they really on Avons?
http://www.endurance-info.com/2009_L...00_Test_08.jpg I notice Luc Alphand is on Dunlop again, I presume this means they've decided to stick with them? |

hmmmmmm, Some cars dont look to have changed that much, only notable difference's on some car's is the narrower rear wing's, The Oreca's look the same as last year, bar the addition and from video's of the 09 car's testing one of them having a side exit exhaust, instead of rear facing exhausts.
What's the news on the Oreca announcement tomorrow? It might just be Solberg as one of Oreca's 2009 driver's unless they have secured someone like Gounon or Montagny which would be fantastic news. |

As to the identity of the 5th Oreca driver at Paul Ricard, the only clues given by Hugues de Chaunac were that he was talented and that these would be his first laps in a prototype (which rules out all three of those you mentioned). |
