Jenny should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hi everyone - just joined and plsed to read about brake pads as I need some advice too. Race a 69 F3 Tecno single seater and need to change the pads b4 Brands 22/23.5. Any ideas on pads to use? Heard Carbotech are good. Incidently, am really new to this game (although Steve who looks after my car is probably one of the best there is) but want to understand why different pads and compounds work...!

THR has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
thought u might like to know how we were getting on with the pads..
using 1166 mintex in Fr as this was recommended by them, found out the 1144 were getting cooked.
did one race with 1166 f 1144 r, balance not bad.
but were cooking the 1144, so obviously not optimal.

tried 1155 rear next race.. balance too far rear again...
swapped the master cylinders round too.. going to look at them tomorrow to check we have them correct way round!

was nice to see the 1166 work tho.. could actually see on the telemetry that the car was slowing down faster... so fast even it toook him ages to get used to braking later and not for so long, as he was going slower thro the corners.. least thats wot it looked like!
