morwenna should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hi,
You're welcome to my spare ticket, as my guests got free tickets from Peugot . PM me your details, or you could get it from me on the campsite if that's easier.

For those that don't know where the campsite is here is a map....

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?hl=...4f4e69968ef80b

Access by main gate. DO NOT go over bridge but turn left around perimiter road to site.

There is some security at the gate to the campsite, but I wouldn't be sure that they stop anybody and question them. If you have any valuables, I would advise you to lock them up in your car/friends car.

Usually there's security at the vehicle entrance but if the pedestrian gate in the hedge behind the Copse grandstands is unlocked then can we at least try and keep it closed please. In the past I've often seen it wide open during the day and so stopped to close it.

A big favour to ask...

...at LM this year, we ran into the Audi guys being posed in the pitlane on the Sunday evening. The young French boy with us (son of one of the French marshals) wanted to get their autographs, but unfortunately the team 'minders' wouldn't allow it, and wouldn't even let him take a picture :-( I said I would try and get the autographs for him, but haven't been able to catch any of them anywhere - typical! As I can't make it to Silverstone this weekend, would anyone be able to assist, please? I know it's a big ask, but I did promise I would give it a try. Failing that, does anyone know if Alan McNish is due to appear at Goodwood?

cheers me dears

I doubt it as marahals arn't supposed to seek autographs when on duty- or this might happen

That's only at the Grand Prix isn't it? If I see any of the Audi drivers I'll see what I can do - Audi being the best team and all that - what's the lad's name? Not promising anything, but I'll try to get my friend to pick up something if they go to the autograph session as well.

off-duty is fine, but when you are on-duty you are meant to be working

When I called at the circuit this afternoon almost the first thing I heard was that at least one team had been 'inconvenienced' by the Channel Tunnel 'problem' this afternoon. Not sure who or how many - probably support race entrants because the main paddock was pretty full. Peugeot are the first pit after Ped Bridge and Audi are right by the pit exit.

It was the 'WORK' aspect I was questioning - not autographs!

There's nothing worse when you are working than having some b****r forcing a camera in your face. I, personally, hate it and never "smile/pose".

As far as I am concerned, take an "action" photo - fine - but not a "portrait", thank you very much.
