750MC Pembrey
Well done 750MC today at Pembrey. 11 Race programme, last race started 24 min's early and wrapped up by 5.15.
20 minutes Red Arrows display slotted in before last practice in the morning and a lunch break. Good entries and racing, what more can you ask for. Give them your support, it's where the real motor racing is. |

I dont suppose you have any results for the SRGT and Proteus races do you???
what more can you ask for. Just for Pembrey to be moved nearer to civilisation It's just a pain that Pembrey is so far away |

Have they got better, or were they just lucky?
I pulled out of the 750MC for a variety of reasons, one of which was being fed up with 5 lap races when they had crammed too much into the programme and then run out of time following a stoppage. |

I sat & watched the Touring cars & Goodwood on Men & Motors with a nice cold pack of Cobra Lager
That ran very well also |

I've done many 750MC meetings and have never had a problem yet (As he reaches for the nearest piece of wood to touch)

Sorry if this sounds a bit vague but the GT race was won by one of the RAM Cobra's (Grey one I think, can't remember the number). Don't know about JEC Proteus race as that ran on the Sun. I was there for the Sat races only.

That would be Cheng in the Cobra, he wins most times when he stays on the track, thanks for that.

Just to confirm it was Cheng. Two races for SR>. On Saturday we had Red Arrows Display , Red Devils parchutists and a spitfire fly past. Sunday just a single aeroplane display. It was not our organisation though. We were just lucky it was Kidwelly carnival and the aerodrome was next to the circuit.
Following on from Garry's stats, Sunday we cancelled the Alcomers race (only 4 entries), and managed to finish before 4.00. I was sorry we have let Bob Pearson down in the past but can assure him things have been good for a few years now, helped by a lucky streak this year with the weather. Hope you decide to give us another chance. |

A special thanks to the marshals who bump started my Locost (no. 20) after I spun it in practice at Brooklands - I am an arse and will change the starter motor asap.
Friendly chap at the post too. 750MC organisation has been consistently good this season. Also, at most meetings I get 2 races for the price on 1 with the Locost due to the number of entries - half price motorsport! |

Racingdick try the web page of the timekeepers for 750MC wich I believe is HS Sports.
750 are always excellent meetings and I have never been to a badly run meeting with them. This year I have had to cancel a couple of them due to personal commitments but I will make up for it in 04. Well done 750 looking forward to your annual trip to Lydden. RS. |

Hi gary, just PMed you but see you've signed off now.
Aircraft from work, now a TRS2 would be good for the historic race! |
