LMP2 Lola B04/4

Ive just seen a picture of the new Lola (artists impression) on another site . Im not sure if I like it very much . I think that the double roll bar makes it look a bit too much like a Renault spyder and as for the single piller rear wing support , no comment !!!
The color is nice tho (blue) and the wheels are ok too .

I really wish for rules stability for sportscars in my christmass stocking !

Duffacus should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Ive got to agree with your opinion on the double roll bar. I think the rest of the car looks alright but its not my most favourite Lola. Wonder how much it will cost.

the simple solution to the double-roll hoop is to eliminate the "passenger" one, in favor of an engine cover or airbox. I'm sure that this will be made available to teams in the near future.

The specs look great, and has the upgrade package for those using the present B2K/40 chassis, allowing them a longer life span.

Thanks, Lola.

The double roll hoop (or full with ala SRP2) is required by the LMP2 regs. Robert

Lola say it could be converted to LMP1 if there is demand.

Not really converted. But it shares the same tub (and probably underfloor) as the LMP1 car.

Is there a demand for mid to back pack runners that like getting blue flagged for Porsches? (low blow, I know)

I wonder if McDonald's is potentially considering sponsorship, as I can see a potential tie in with their logo.

Just making sport, any proto is a good car to have.

I echo Fab's Thanks!!!!

IMO, the double roll hoops don't look great, but they don't bother me very much either....

Many street-legal sports roadsters that are convertibles have the double roll hoops or double headrests and look just fine....

But I don't see how this design is any safer than a full roll hoop...
