AX lover should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
And you do you get 11 points for a win at Spa and only 10 points for a win at Barcelona?

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but I have just realised that the Audis at Spa didn't run the 'Spa' wings

I believe that it was outlawed for this year, though that may just be a result of the aero adjustment made with the smaller wing.

Not to be a know-it-all but the exact timing could be found on the classicenduranceracing.com website for some weeks already

Would you complete the Le Mans Series, perhaps Nurburgring and Silverstone? “No. I went to Spa, and honestly the Le Mans Series is not made for LMP1. It is not for us. There is no marketing, it is for gentlemen drivers.
Pull the other one Peugeot, you'll not find any better team's currently competing in ACO LMP1 sportscar racing than Prodrive Aston Martin, Oreca and Pescarolo outside of Audi, perhap's they'd have a chance to win if the regulation's were not stacked in favour of diesel's?

The fact is Audi will more than likely eventually return to the LMS in an official capacity with Joest, while most Le Mans competitor's will want to compete in a European series, not to mention at least two LMS round's will be part of any (World)LMS.

For all the merits of the LMS, I think that was a fair comment - the LMS just does not seem to be geared towards big marketing efforts by factories, but it fits privateer entries perfectly.

Totally agree. You can only really market it bigger when the manufacturers are involved. Look at Audi and GM in ALMS last year, at least.
I don't see why LMS can't be good for manufacturers. Peugeot's car isn't suited for anything other than Le Mans and, possibly, Spa, and other tracks with fast straights.

Autosport are reporting that Barings bank has pulled their sponsorship from Bruce Jouanny ..... So it looks like just the 1 Pescarolo for the remainder .

Im surprised that they didnt pull their sponsorship sooner , considering the economy .

Ever the optimist, I'd see there still being a bit of a chance of there being 2 Pescarolos. I think Jouanny brought more than just Barings money, and given the competitive proposition that the Pescarolo is, and the amount of time before Algarve, it's perfectly feasible either another sponsor, or a more monied driver may appear.

That said I wouldn't be surprised to see overall grids drop a bit as we run towards the end of the season.

EI has posted some news for Portimão:

- No Pescarolo for Portuguese João Barbosa after Jouanny stepped down as already mentioned here

- Tiago Monteiro will substitute Ortelli in the #10 Oreca, so it will be a portuguese-speaking lineup at Portimão

- Peter Hardman will not race his Strakka. He«s gonna leave that to Leventis and Watts

- Barazi will be present but no news on the 2nd driver with Barazi

- GT1 will see Larbre compete with a Saleen, and some good news possibly from Luc Alphand's team. They'll have at least 1 car but may have 2! Despite the crash at Le Mans and despite Luc's possible absence.

- In GT2, Farnbacher will only take 1 Ferrari under the FBR banner (doesn't include the Hankook Ferrari) and Beltoise will return to the car after missing Spa.

Luc Alphand likely bought the ex. Phoenix Carsport chassies that wasn't used yet this year, or even one of the the P&M vettes immediately after the race.

LAA #72 (C6R-004) was repaired at P&M and will be on the grid for the Algarve round, they just need to fill Luc's seat while he recuperates.
