Hi all!
Well it is that time of year where we are all getting exited about the new season. For examaple, In 1998 I was hoping JV was going to retain his WC...(“Williams have strength in depth,” I though to myself.. D’oh (_8(|) ) Anyhow I hope the following will come true this season. (no matter how unlikely.) 1.) Montoya wins the WDC. 2.) No fudging about with tyres with the grooves worn off. I can see many races being decided in court 3.) No more Ferrari bias from the FIA! 4.) Kimi not triggering a huge accident. 5.) Some overtaking. 6.) De la Rosa Sues Walkinshaw and wins! 7.) Alesi wins some races. 8.) Fisichella thrashes Button. |

Tris you want over taking, so do we all. You should have watched the Bud shootout in Daytona yesterday. I know it is a dirty word in this forum but there was overtaking for 75 laps, it was exiting. I managed to never mention the series name, ha ha.

1) Not two-horse (three at least) race during the season
2) Some great overtaking 3) Ralph, Alezi and Rubinio to win at least one Grand Prix 4) Good Micheline tyres and exiting tyre war 5) Minardi to reach 107% each race and fight till the end of the race 6) New Renault-engine to be competative and reliable |

I hope for:
1. DC to finally take the championship 2. JV to finally win in the BAR 3. Jaguar to win a race. 4. JPM to leave the sport in disgrace (He's a good driver, I just don't like his attitude) 5. TGF to announce his retirement! |

I'll take number five as well....
I hope the Michelins have the edge at some circuits. I'd like to see wins by Alesi, Ralf, Montoya, Panis and HHF in addition to the expected victories by TGF, DC and Hakkinen. I'd like the WDC go down to Suzuka with 3-4 drivers still in the hunt. I'd like De La Rosa to get that second seat at Prost. I'd like some one other than TGF to win in Canada so that i actually have something to cheer about. |

2). Montoya 2 get his ass kicked.... 3). JV to come out successfully the other end of a bend 4). Ferrari to keep tricking McLaren in to making stoopid pit stops 5). Murry at least get a full sentence correct....I really miss him 6). Ralfie still looking fit 7). Button 2 get up the good work 8). I'd also like to see: 1. Ralf's first win 2. Minardi actually make the grid in Australia (fingers crossed) 3. Pedro de la Rosa to get himself signed up with a halfway decent team for 2002 5. A more open championship, with people feasibly able to win without driving a McLaren or Ferrari. |

The resurgence of Michelin - with Michelin being faster at some circuits. This, in itself, will result in a fantastic season because Michelin have three works engines and one semi works (Prost's customer Ferrari). This will spread the wins around and create greater competition for the titles. I also wish for overtaking, but I really can't see where this will come from.

1. World Champion - Olivier Panis, with Villeneuve, Hakkinen, Coulthard and Trulli battling behind him.
2. Schumacher to be proven as a cheat and be gaoled for 15, no, 115 years (that comment is slightly bias, I know) 3. I hope the North Korean airforce accidentally sends a missile into The Hungarian GP track, making it impossible to hold a race there. The race is then re-scheduled to take place on a temporary street circuit that will be built just infront of my house. 4. Some idiot walks on the track at Hockenheim again, stuffing up everyone's full strategies, allowing Jean Alesi to lead home his team-mate Gaston in a Prost-Ferrari one-two. 5. Minardi score at least 5 points. Arrows score none. Serves them right for sacking De La Rosa. 6. How about someone not in a Red or Silver car winning the odd race. 7. Overtaking. 8. Onboard camera footage on the TV. Unless you have Bernie-vision you currently miss out. 9. Max Mosely retires as head of the FIA, and is replaced by someone by the name of Scott Russell (yes, I admit, that is me). 10. At least five of the above things come true!! |

1. Arrows and Jaguar to finish joint-last in the championship.
2. Minardi to show just how good their 2001 car really is, despite the hunk-of-junk in the back of it. 3. Heinz and Jarno to win. 4. Montoya to FAIL!!! 5. At least 4 drivers challenging 'til the end. 6. Kimi showing that he DOES deserve his licence. 7. Alesi to win. |

1. TGF DNFing the first four races of the season to make it all a bit more exciting.
2. Minardi to get on the grid and score some points. 3. Eddie Irvine to score 0 points. 4. Jacques, Ralf and Montoya to win at least one race each. 5. Alesi to have a good season, although I think a win will be too far-fetched. 6. MORE OVERTAKING!!! 7. ... and the re-introduction of slicks for 2002. |

My wish list:
1. Hakkinen wins the championship with 3 to spare. 2. Montoya to win a race & beat Ralf every time 3. Fisichella thrashes button 4. Close racing & passing 5. Kimi gets steady points and is crowned the new rainmaster. 6. Jacques winning a wet race. |
