And here's the orignal press release:

Quote:
SCi signs agreement with World Rally Champion, Richard Burns
(8/27/02) SCi Entertainment Group Plc (SEG), one of Europe's leading publishers of computer and video games, is pleased to announce today that it has entered into an exclusive long-term agreement with the World Rally Champion, Richard Burns.

Richard Burns (31) has been Britain's top rally driver for the past three seasons, and became World Rally Champion in 2001. The first game in the 'Richard Burns Rally ' series will be launched during 2003 on all major gaming platforms. Richard Burns and Robert Reid (co-driver) will work closely with SCi on the development and promotion of the series of games.

The Richard Burns agreement is the latest addition to SCi's portfolio of properties. These include The Italian Job, The Great Escape, Thunderbirds, Where Eagles Dare, The Guns of Navarone, Ice Station Zebra, Conflict: Desert Storm, Gumball 3000 and FourFourTwo:Touchline Passion (endorsed by Terry Venables and Gabby Logan).

Commenting on the agreement, Jane Cavanagh, Chief Executive of SCi said,

This is a very exciting collaboration with Richard. We believe that the Richard Burns Rally' series of games has the potential to take pole position in the highly popular rally market.
