The unluckiest man
Poor Trulli. Everytime he qualifies well he gets punted off by someone and everytime he's actually running his car breaks down. Hope he has better luck at Renault next year.

What happened to Trulli just goes to show Button is out of his depth in F1, and hype does not make a great driver.
Poor, poor Trulli. Perhaps joining Jordan wasn't a great move after all. He's had more bad luck there than when he was with Prost. But things will improve when he joins Renault next year. They have to. |

This isn't a time to be calling anyone 'The unluckiest'. Trulli will have more races to prove himself...

Screw Trulli, the unluckiest man at the moment is Alex Zanardi.

Sorry about this but I meant to say the unluckiest F1 driver at the moment. I am sorry if most of you took it the wrong way. I agree that he's by no means the unluckiest person right now.

fastracer, don't worry, I no what you mean. A lot of us have said thing we'll regret in recent days...
Anyway, poor Jarno does have rotten luck. To think he got as many points at Prost in '99 as he did at Jordan last year is a sad fact. Ever since they went of the rails, Jordan haven't been the same. What a shame. |

Please correct me if I'm wrong but jarno would have had more first lap incidents than any of the current bunch in F1 wouldn't he?

At the moment the unluckiest man in F1 has to be Luciano Burti. The guy has had so many accidents which werent his fault.
Melbourne (suspension) Monaco (brakes) Hockenheim (unsighted no chance ofavoidance) Spa (enough said) |

Burti
The people who are blaming Irvine must've been watching some other race. Overtaking mvoes in the fast corners at Spa are not possible, and Burti went way over the top in his attempt at passing, indeed he had his wheels on the grass down the inside. I think Trulli has to be the unluckiest. Monza 2001, Monza 2000, Spa 2000, Hockenheim 2000, Austria 2000, Monaco 2000, joing Prost at all, Austria 1997, need I go on?

Jarno doesn't have much good luck, however the events of last weekend in Germany have given me a new appreciation for the notion of "racing luck."

I dunno... The way the Renault is coming on, my vote would be
Fisio for the unluckiest man on the grid. Just as it all seems to be coming together (at Benetton), Giancarlo ships out to a team bent on falling on it's sword. Ya gotta wonder what's goin on at Jordan. |

Hmmmm..... in sheer NUMBER of things to go wrong, Trulli, JPM, MH, Burti and Fischo would probably ALL be contenders. Where does TGF get it from??
