Audi Racer has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Petit Lemans Points(How will they score)

Has it been decided how the points will work at petit lemans. Isn't it supposed to be LMP1,LMP2,LMPC,GT2,GTC. but alms runs just lmp. All of the audis and peugeots will no doubt play spoilers to the championship. Drayson runs in LMP1 despite the LMP designation and the highcroft car runs in LMP2 again despite lmp designation. If they were both separated by 1 point in the LMP champisonship going into petitlemans the drayson car would surely lose becasue it has to face the likes of peugeot and audi while the highcroft car is seen as the favorite in LMP2 and will probably win. if they get points based on class the highcroft car which has an easier shot at the win in it's class will score more points than the drayson car which will at best finish behind 4 diesels if everybody behaves themselves. If they call it based on overall finishing order then the drayson car is just as capable as a diesel in smoking the highcroft car with cocker or pirro sorry drayson.

It will be scored just as Sebring was. Only teams that are entered for the year score points, in whichever class the car was declared in at the beginning of the year. Those points will carry over directly into the LMP championship, also. Highest finishing full year entrant will get 30 points (endurance round) in each class graduating downward etc.. those points will be added to tally of all 3 P- championships.

They'll likely do as they did at Sebring. At Sebring, the Peugeots and Lola-Aston Martins didn't score points as they weren't full season entrants. As a result, both Drayson and CytoSport were scored as the winners in their classes and shared the point lead going into Long Beach.

At Petit, even if they finish behind the diesels, Drayson could very well finish ahead of Autocon and Intersport and, if they finish the required distance to score points, could well finish the best of those. As a result, the would score the same amount of points in LMP1 that Highcroft would get if they win the LMP2 class.

Hope that explains it. ^_^

Edit: Horndawg beat me to it. My bad.
