Delta challenge

I need help and advice from my tenth friends . I will have two cars to run at Hockenheim weekend 5 th May. I would like to park up van and trailer and fly back to the UK on the Sunday eve after the race . Wiscombe Hillclimbe May 11 th May although this is up in the air as I am a reserve . More important is getting back to my Van and trailer and setting off for Enna to arrive on Thursday 16 th May . So my question is where do you think best airport to park up and collect van to carry on journey to Sicily .

If it was me, I would probably drive south and cross over the border and probably go to Zurich. That way you would be partly on your way down to Enna, and your van and trailer would be safer from a crime point of view in Switzerland. And I believe that you would possibly have a good choice of UK airports to fly to from there.

Will you use a ferry to sail to Pergusa? Which harbour? Genova (Gènes)?

Or developing Mike's idea you could drive a bit further south and leave it in secure storage at Monza on the Monday morning, we all know how accommodating the Italians are when it comes to motorsport. I have found a couple of names at management level at the circuit.

Think we have a plan . After Hockenheim I will take the van and trailer back to near Leon. Park up at friends farm , get lift to airport and home . Wiscombe following Saturday then fly back Sunday / Monday and head to Enna. Simple ?

Surely you must know someone with a helicopter that could pick you up from the farm and return you after Wiscombe?

Iain, don't forget the two-stroke engine you are supposed to bring to Hockenheim.
