I know the World Cup is on, but it seems there are a lot of Sportscar fans with a stereotypical football fan attitude. We have real hate being expressed here and commentators calling drivers 'dicks'. Oh well, it is the modern way I guess.

Mockenrue should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I've been watching since the race started and the commentators have mentioned on several occasions that Peugeot developed a new engine for the factory 908s for this season. Presumably Oreca's car doesn't have this new engine, so could that be a factor in its longevity relative to the others?

Does anyone know if there has been a 123 same manufacturer finish since 1966? Have the Audi's done it before?

They claim the Oreca Peugeot is the exactly the same spec. as the works cars.

A 3m19.7s from Duval suggests it isn't far off.

Considering the circumstances, the outcome, and the reaction, you should be thankful thats the least people are saying.

For me, it's one of the most disrespectful experiences I've ever seen from a race car driver.

Porsche in loads of years I expect. IIRC Audi have achieved this before. And Peugeot in the '90s? I bet it is reet common

Audi first did it in 2000. I believe they did it again, but I'm too tired from being up so long to search the interwebs for the actual info.

Duval 3:19.074. Clearly the same spec engine as the other works cars. Nice showing off, but will the engine hold for 1.5 hours?

It's been done multiple times since then, most recently in 2004 by Audi (1st Team Goh, 2nd Team Veloqx, 3rd Champion Racing)

Last time it was done by one team was by the Audi factory squad in 2002.

Porsche 956s had positions 1-8 in 1983 and 1-7 in 1984.

I think the 3:19.074 is the fastest race lap ever on the current configuration?
