In Turismo Competición 2000, the two Squadra Martino Hondas will be driven by Leonel and Tiago Pernia.
In TN APAT, Marcelo Ambrogio will enter two Ford Focus for Fabián Yannantuoni and Facundo Marques, with Paladini sponsorship. |

In terms of TC2000 (the Levy variety, aka the original) i'm quite wary of what will happen with it: there are some "teams" after the mass walk out to the ACTC but its a little weird: Martino is a client type team with experience in TCR, the Corolla Cross is made by Corsi (the small pay driver team that changed drivers a lot in 2024) and not by the TGRA team led by Ramonda. Basically all the new cars seems to be made by series backed teams not by the traditional teams, with the Trackers made by Pro-Racing (Backed by the series and YPF after the closing of the original team in 2023), the Nivus made by the series themselves, without a word yet on who will race it, the Hondas made by a team without experience building them (and still being a no-show) and the Toyotas made by the already mentioned Corsi team.
Also they announced "the new cars of TC2000" again, with a lot of renders of some cars that i'm fairly sure they'll never build (i'm looking at you Mustang Mach E) like they announced a lot of SUVs for the first batch that never materialized |

It's sort of like those electric scooter renting companies...

In TN APAT, the Pernias will be teammates at MGC Competición, but will drive different cars.

I think the new meta for the argentine racing scene is "How many Pernias can you feature in your series"

Not since years ago, i remember in the start of the V6 era, the TN was broadcasted as a support series for the TRV6, but then the series started to kinda dilute, being the first series that left Carburando took a toll in them, especially since the broadcast sucked really hard, they were done by people that never did racing.
It was then that the TC separated from Carburando successfuly, and in revenge, Carburando tried to kill them reformulating the TC2000 into the Super, and while the TR got back at Carburando, they were really limited in favour of the STC2000 that was the main series, supported by the automakers in an all out war on horsepower, names and money, against the TC. All this while the TN, by they own merits, started to grow, and that grow got exponential when they finally left Carburando following the TC The TR, in a weird limbo, tried to evolve with the TRV8, that promised muscle cars and v8 engines, the original plan was to implement them for the 2016 season, but that never happened, Urtubey (then, the owner of the series) was losing to much money by that time, and a few years later sold it to the Levys, that continued promising the TRV8, when they were in the works and almost ready to take the track, the Levys bought the TC2000 (that was in ruins following the war between ACTC and Carburando, that the ACTC won by a big margin), and the TR got, again sidelined, being the younger and less valuable series. The TRV8 Prototype exist, as do the CARX V8 cars (the other Levy series that is in life support) but the slight chance to relevance that was there, the "muscle cars", got snatched by the ACTC, in a quite efficient fashion, and the Levys now are more preocuped on trying to maintain the TC2000 afloat while they build the SUVs that nobody seem to want. I think the TR is pretty much doomed, but will remain as a carcass as long as the Levys dont sell it (or sell the TC2000 to focus on the TR) |

I really used to enjoy the previous generation of Top race that appeared in 2005, good looking cars, big name drivers and lots of cars.

Those are for TCR SA
There is a strong rumor of a TCR Argentina coming in the near future, but i think they'll wait and see whats happening with the 2 TC2000s to prevent any more pressure on the Levy's side (On the ACTC side, they can and will make whatever they want at this point) |

With the ACTC now having a single seater ladder in f4, f3 f2, but the all the cars having virtually the same performance. do they have plans to improve f2?

And AFAIK the plan on the series is to continue to be a "young, promotional series" not the "Top single seater series" Finally, don't forget that ACTC isn't running the show on these series, they're the fiscalization body, the series are, as with the APAT Turismo Nacional (or whatever will be called) Turismo Pista, and notably, the new "Turismo Carretera 2000" "owned" and ran by, mostly, an asociation of teams/drivers of each respective series They're, for the most part, taking the place of the ACA's CDA. In the case of the single seaters, they are all owned by different people, there is no conection between them as of now (other than being under CAF fiscalization) What the ACTC own and run are the TC and its ladder (TC, TC Pista, TC Pickups, Mouras, Pista Mouras and Pista Pickups) |
