Tags-Get over it, please
Ok, this is coming second hand from a friend in Cleveland so take it for what it's worth.
Apparently Tagliani was on Cleveland radio, WKNR, last night (Monday) ranting on for approx. 15 minutes about being taken out of the Vancouver race. He also said that if the rules weren't going to be enforced that he would not have a problem taking some of the idiots out himself. The thing is what with English being his second language it may have come out sounding differently from what he meant. I would guess that he's just venting but, to me, if he did mean it then it's almost as irresponsible as what Paul said on the weekend. Now I didn't hear this personally so I don't know exactly what was said. Did anyone who lives in the Cleveland area hear this? Cheers |

CART on the radio? Jeez, that's incredibly rare!
No, I didn't hear anything. But someone needs to kick some butts; and Kneiffel's should be first. |

Tags is doing an Alain Prost -- remember Prost on French TV threatening to kill Senna ("He won't come out of that corner alive") and then saying he was misquoted.
But Paul Gentilozzi needs to kick his butt for him and tell him that he's no Boris Said. (On second thought, Gentilozzi kicked Boris Said's butt for him, didn't he?) Assuming that he really did say what the report says he said. |

not an Ontarian, but I've always called him Tags. Whatever, Monteiro was clearly at fault, and I agree with Tagliani. Tiago's move on ServiÃ* can be excused, as he was battling for position and he thought there was room, but why should he try to pass someone in a very difficult place when he was one or two laps down on Tagliani?

I think Tags has every right to vent, considering he was taken out in a damned idiotic move by Tiago.

I have to wonder if she affects his performance at all though. I mean, she never leaves his side during the weekend...unless he's on the track. She rides with him on his scooter to the pitlane, stays pitside through every session, and always rides back with her to the transporter. Very clingy...

If I were Tags, I'd be very clingy in return!

While Tag/Tags did get taken out after going a bit out of his way making room for Monteiro, he really should just forget about it. It took away a good result for him, but it happens. He's been strong lately and should try his best not to lose focus on what's really important: his own driving. You can't control other drivers on the track (though you'd like to).
And mark my words, Tag will be on top of the podium very soon! |

You're right Omega99, in that he should not lose focus. But I don't think he will - it will intensify. His teammate has five wins now, afterall. I can understand however, that his disappointment was compounded tenfold by the fact that it was a Canadian race.
And you're also right, Omega99, "Tag(s) will be on top of the podium very soon! In a one-car rookie team. |

1. He channels the anger into a great race at RA or: 2. He just figures "bomb the torpedos" and does something really stupid which, considering his past history, is not out of the question. I hope it's the former and that Gentilozzi can channel the anger into a good, safe race for him. But I think a lot will depend on who he thinks is blocking him this time. As for him being on top of the podium...that is something I would like to see. Cheers |

I would too -- I think Tags has a lot of potential if he would just channel it into the race and leave the wife and the personal issues in the trailer. He could take a note from Tracy this past weekend -- with everything going against him, he rose up and showed everyone his mettle by winning the race .
