KAM should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Broken the zip on my racesuit

Today i've been a bit of a spanner. Midrace in my Club100 karting race I was getting suited up for our driver change and I ripped a few of the zipper bits off!
Luckily I was able to blag one of the hire suits off the organisers to carry on but its mightily annoying all the same.
Its a non expensive karting suit so i'm not out of pocket by much, but was wondering if I can get it fixed for cheaper than a new one.

Doubt it Kev! Unless you can find yourself a little seamstress in the Yellow Pages. Changing a zip's actually quite a big job in a race suit.

Best bet is trawl the small ads in your local newsagent window for someone dressmaking from home.

Bust the zip on my racesuit (must have shrunk over winter!) took it to Sainsburys dry cleaning dept and they put a zip in for £19.Bit of a deal I thought.

Don't forget that when you have to replace a zip on a Nomex suit, it should be done with the special fire resistant threads.

AWS don't ask that much either to replace a zip and it's done with the proper materials.

Does Nick still work on other brands? Last I heard he didn't want to.

Don't know Max, this was more for people with one of his suits.
