Yeah, it seems like the extra formation laps started the race and thus he was not parc ferme any longer. Then given the delays in the start you might as well try to fix it and see what the decision is.
Tough call between Williams and the strategy call on Saturday that ended up with 2 cars in the points or Red Bull and cranking out the suspension repairs cause why not. |

Team Willie. They got both cars up to unaccustomed positions in qualifying, and that translated into a fine race result. You take what comes to you.
Most other teams seemed to have one car down in an unaccustomed position. |

Ferrari.
Qualified outside the top 10 with both cars, yet advanced to 8th and 10th. That must surely be due to great race pace and clever strategy. |

Amongst all the witticisms, there's actually no point in voting for any of the polls this weekend, is there?
Having tried to stay away from the news before I could watch and all I got was that? So very disappointed and deflated.  Lewis get one small point as the voice of us all when he said "money talks". Releasing them all for two laps just so they could say there had been a race was a cynical and financial move only. Had I paid money to be there I think I would have demanded my money back. I hope we will have a race for real next time. ...good to hear Norris is ok, though. |
