More Trouble in Paradise - Team Penske Has no intention of Following New Rule
In other rule changes, the IRL will require multicar teams to make the color schemes of the cars "significantly different." Four minor parts of the car must look different, Barnhart said.
Most likely to be affected is Team Penske, although Team Penske president Tim Cindric said the team has no intention of changing the look of its virtually identical white-and-orange Marlboro-sponsored cars. "That was the whole reason for making the (car) numbers bigger," he said. "I can always tell which car's mine."
