The showers in the campsite are fine most of the time, but you have to pick your time carefully because of the queues

Experience means that you tend to know when to go for a shower but even if there is a queue it is never that long and you meet and chat to people, That is what the whole experience is about, my first few trips in the eighties I did not understand that and missed out on the experience, the biggest must do at le mans in my opinion is
"TALK TO PEOPLE" They are there for the same reason you are so you might make friends that last for years |

Couldn't agree with you more. To be fair I talk to people anywhere, including; God forbid, the Tube!! It's all part of the fun of it in my mind. Even managed to bump in to a very old (as in before I was born) friend of my parents one year and have kept in touch since.

That is a scandalous remark we always give people a choice, wine, beer, Tea/coffee or soft drink and strangely enough the wine is always very popular

Yet he never drinks wine at home. ....... probably because Camra or what ever it is only send him beer vouchers oddly.
I can honestly say I've never been to a place where people are so friendly and welcoming. ... of my father. |

Beer vouchers?
Are they just issued to OAPs? |

Sneak into a garage on Friday:
See the drivers' parade on Friday evening (get there early) Visit the museum Spot some supercars parked on the street as if they were everyday cars Witness the epic spectacle of the whole start of the race Meet Miss Le Mans Take in as much as you can, but you can never see it all. Plan to come back again. |
