WRT switching to BMW and to an extent Emil Frey switching to Ferrari has really helped on the variety front especially in the sprint series. And now someone is going to run an Acura NSX in GT World Challenge Europe too! GT3 racing is looking real good now. Don't let the Bathurst and Kyalami grids fool you.

It’s a shame about Brands Hatch because I’m sure Circuit capacity is much higher it’s the garage numbers that restrict it, made even worse because garages 1 and 2 are used for other things and can’t be used.

Run through the check list here. So for GT WC Sprit right now we have cars for BMW, Ferrari, Merecedes, Audi, McLaren, and Acura? No Porsche or Lamborghini or Aston Martin?

Porsche is in with at least one car from a new french team. Like last year Lamborghini could be represented by Monaco's GSM Novamarine (they entered this week Paul Ricard tests), but we know that both italian teams Imperiale and LP could join the ranks after last season one-off eppearance at Misano.
Aston will be the only missing manufacturer in both Series

The 7tSix is a pleasant surprise.. curious where they will go class wise, but likely following a funded Am so pro am or similar

35 or so expected for a capacity grid in sprint, 55 ish for endurance im betting so we are getting nearer.

Looking at the early times from the first four hour session of this weeks test days and it would seem that SRO are going to have to look at the BOP for the new Porsche, Ferrari and Lambo - all struggling for initial pace, much like they did at Daytona.
I do however have a little more faith in SRO to ensure everybody has a fair chance - unlike IMSA who made a complete mess of it in a way that only they (or ACO) could!
