freud has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Re: 2003

Market depends on Honda and Toyota. Jordan will not get Honda engines next year and Toyota would try to get Takuma Sato alongwith Heinz Herald Frentzen.

Expect at Sauber for Massa to be bumped back to test driver, or even move to another team, while an experienced team-mate is brought in alongside Heidfeld.

Sauber has been less than impressed with many of Massa's performances this year, and his last couple in Britain and France were very poor indeed.

I don't know what Massa's future gonna be like next year with Sauber but another Malaysian currently driving in British F3 is almost certain to be the test driver for Sauber next year.

You'll all hear the confirmed news by next month or so

Do you know something I don't? He's contracted to Jordan, provided they have a works engine - I don't see him leaving when they get the Cosworths, though

TOYOTA
HH-F
Maybe. Perhaps unlikely, but maybe.
Alex Wurz
Salo is still under contract for next year. McNish hasn't lost his place yet. Wurz has been confirmed at McLaren.

JORDAN-Honda
Not Honda.
Takuma Sato
Mark Webber
Er?

JAGUAR
Eddie Irvine
Retiring.
Pedro De La Rosa
Will be partnering Webber.

BAR-HONDA
Jacques Villeneuve
Taking his sabbatical.
Jenson Button

ARROWS-Ford
I don't think they'll be on the grid. This team is in complete and utter chaos. Tom Walkinshaw needs to be ousted!
Enrique Bernoldi
If TW hasn't completely put Red Bull off, them he'll be here.
Felipe Massa
I don't know why people think Sauber aren't pleased with him.

Minardi-????
Who bloody knows!

Would Toyota stoop so low as to aim for Sato? Will they see Honda help to develop a F1 driver from Japan only to flex their financial might to prove a point? I read that rumor on the Toyota friendly Autosport site. I think Fisi should stay if/when Honda stays with Jordan for one more year. If not I can only wish FW would hire him to replace Schumi Jnr. Hopefully Sato gets one more year in F1 to prove his worth too. Even if he tests again for BAR. No reasonable driver should want to go to Sauber that is a dead end deal. As for Toyota I expect to see Salo alongside... who cares .

(I only edited a few typos, I hope you are not offended)

Last week Alex Wurz said he was talking to 3 teams, presumably, McLaren was one of them, but i honestly don't see Alex giving up a race seat at either of the other 2 teams (unless 1 is Minardi) to stay at McLaren as a tester.

I know that McLaren announced Alex as "3rd driver" yesterday, but i'll bet his contract says he can go if he's offered a race seat somewhere else.

I have read that Sauber could be taking Fisi on at the request of Ferrari so that they can have a closer look at him with a view to a future race seat, plus it's been mentioned on Sky Digi+.

Wurz was quoted as saying that he wanted to be certain of a seat before any on the few opportunities dried up. My bet is that Wurz will be racing in a McLaren next year at select races in a third car.
