Montagny, Capello, Bourdais and Kristensen in that order. Early in the race it was clear Capello was quicker than Kristensen. Capello then got ahead and went past Bourdais at turn 1 when the Frenchman made a small mistake.
Montagny might have jumped the start... anyway he is about 6 seconds ahead. Kristensen is 12 sec behind Montagny now. Drayson Lola is in the pits. |

Early days yet, but Audi are holding their own. Dindo is pushing well, with TK sitting back, it will be interesting to see how much pace the #7 Audi has when McNish hops in for his go. Nothing in the lap times of the front running 4 cars.

Both Peugeots pitted also, Bourdais emerged ahead of Kristensen and Capello.
BMW now leades GT2 with Dirk Werner. Phil Quaife is next in the Ferrari. The fastest Porsche is Darryl O'Young's Prospeed entry. |

Lap 60, the two Peugeots are now running close together with the Audis 22 and 28 seconds behind. My guess is that the Audis are laden with more fuel.
BMW Werner still leading Ferrari Quaife and Ferrari Melo in GT2. Porsche O'Young is fourth. The GT3 hybrid is 6th overall, ahead of the GT1 Saleen and all other GT entries. My mistake... Audi no. 8 pitted with driver change. Romain Dumas now driving. No. 7 now pits, too. Drayson Lola has been in the pits for many laps for repairs, now it is behind the Courage of Tokai University. You guys might want and visit the 10 tenth chatroom too.
By the way does someone here know of a local channel that broadcasts the race ? I seem to remember that I followed the Macau races last year on either tvu or sopcast somewhere. maybe thats an idea for live coverage |

The Peugeot link doesn't work. I can't read Chinese, but I assume it says something about not being available in my region.

Is that pollution or is it just a terribly overcast day at Zhuhai?
