You need to start predicting lottery numbers!! I would subscribe to your web-site.

4 hour time limit restricts the number of pit stops. After a driver and tires change you can only run 6 stints in 4 hours. Audi changes tires after stint #4, but has to change drivers and tires after stint #6 due to the time limit.

Peugeot changes tires only once without a driver change after stint #3. Audi does it after stint #4, but is forced to pit only 2 stints later due to the time limit

Now I may be completely wrong, but I dont see 8 stints fitting in the 4 hour limit

Audi Racer has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!

Audi never runs there drivers for 6 stints. The run the driver and tire set for 4 stints. simple and done. Thats what they do. Theres no time penalty issues or anything. im confused at what your arguing

6 stints don't fit in 4 hours either. 6 stint = 72 laps.

Well, ORECA certainly isnt the team to beat now, . But still, I had a bad feeling that would happen. Good news I guess is that if this keeps up Henri may get a podium, imagine how crazy France will be if that happens?

He correctly predicted aggression by the diesels due to how equal they are. I believe SPEED commentators said they heard diesel drivers would take "unnecessary" risks

Right, and as far as I know only 5 stints are allowed per driver.

Ah just forget it. Im overlooking alot of things

What I do know is that Peugeot may be running a soft tire as they are matching and beating the R18s times

That should negate the tire issue leaving only the fuel advantage

Audi must be on pins and needles with 3 Peugeots lurking

They did a tire change when they put Fassler in the car.

Plus Pags and Davidson are slamming it, under 3:30's.

What will Peugeot do. Keep steady and chip into the lead or choke it away.

History says choke. Im waiting for their failures while a wombed Audi squad wins with their 3rd best car

They will probably let Anthony pass the Audi then get the front 2 to conserve, wish we didnt have to ride onboard the tractors for so long, i want to hear cars from the outside too!

I think the pendulum is going Peugeot's way at this point. Fassler doesn't seem as fast as the other #2 drivers. Though he did throw down some sub-3:30's when he was being chased.

I wonder if it wasn't Peugeot's strategy to just try to stay on the same lap until after 12 hours and then turn up the wick.

Just caught a bit of the SPEED commentary ... Dorsey wants to put a whole hog in the tire warming oven!

Pug just needs to keep pace with one or two a press with one or two.
Not much Audi can do but go flat out from here on out.

I don't have SPEED here, but I assume it's Diffey, Dorsey, and whoever else?

I mean, Varsha, Hobbs, and crew are in Montreal (I REALLY wish they were covering this race instead).

Scott Pruett was there for a while as well, not sure if he still is, I turned the Speed audio off. It would be better though if he was GONE.

Justin Bell, Jamie Howe in the pitlane.

I turned it on earlier, heard Mr. "Hi to my family at home!" and immediately shut it off and went back to the Eurosport stream.
