Anyone seen the entry list for Lydden? I haven't entered yet, but intend doing so. Do I need to get my skates on?

Should be enough room as there are plans for split races (A+C and B with D)

Sorry you are too slow. I have answered my own question.

Whilst the wifes away.........you have to do their own dirty work.

Boring I know, but it is late.

No, she was just having a break in America. White water rafting and mule trekking!! I did have the oldest pit crew though (no offence Shawn) in Tony and Rose Sugden, the stars from Doncaster.

Due to a spot of P.P.P.P.P.P (P.Poor Preparation Prevents Perfect Performance) it's going to be a few days before I get Harry back on-track. I was hoping to be out at Lydden for my next attempt, but that's looking unlikely.

The Pinion is stripped of all teeth, thanks to there being no oil in the diff!

The other things I've found related to the suspension, which needs a major setup.

Engine wise, it leaks worse than Whitehall when the BBC are around, so it's gotta come out and be built onto a test rail to find the weeps and glue them up!

Still, it was 1130pm when it went on to the trailer on Friday night, having only fired for the first time (properly) at around 4pm on Friday.

The lap that I managed did show up some potential, and that the 3.75:1 diff in the axle was far too low!

Thanks to all that helped, or tried to help get it back out for the race, especially Jon Mann (who hopes to be out at the Silverstone Stowe race in his Calibra).

That'll teach me to leave the spares at home!

Congrats to Rod for the overall wins, and all of the class winners.

In the words of Mr A. Schwartzenegger... "I'll be back"

And hopefully, be able to perform some formation sideways with Peter Thurston!

Rob.

I see that the TRC meeting on the 25 /26th June has now been cancelled, why is that, I thought the series would have max entry for those races ?, or is this a problem with not being part of a BRSCC or BARC event and buying the track time from another series, such as EERC ?

it hasn't been in the calendar for a long long time, BARC SE couldn't get a grid at that meeting, a real shame and it wasn't for lack of trying. although they now have a saloon and sports race now scheduled for july 9th or 10th at brands

I was going to say - what meeting on the 25/26th - had me worried that I was missing out on something.

The 9th/10th July - there's the Eurosaloons at Brands - which I'm planning to do.

There is also a southern sports and saloon race to replace the cancelled Silverstone race at the end of March. Entry fee is £145. Practice and race same day. Not sure which of the two days (July 9th or 10th) it will be on.

According to the BRSCC website, the BARC SE Sports/Saloons is on the 9th.
But that can always be wrong.

I'll most likely be hiding in my motorhome, but who knows!! If the weather's nice, anything is possible.

If it's like Silverstone, I'll still be at home until 00:30hrs on Friday following a mad day trying to get the varmit ready.

Managed to tweak work commitments to get most of tomorrow, most of friday, and some of saturday to work on the car.

Could be testing sooner rather than later (breaking a 3.09 diff more like!)
