I have been going to Jersey for the past three years for the car rally and enjoy it every bit.
To those thinking of going for the Hillclimb the channel Island events are mint to go and see and you will want to go back Flying only takes us a bit over an hour from Newcastle I wouldn't sail the 100 Miles on the see there, plus my bro drove from Middlesbrough to Weymouth last year and then the ferry to Jersey and said never again Fly and hire a car for him next year |

I think it just depends on where you live really and what you need to take with you. We fly accross mainly because it was always cheaper when we lived in Southampton. Now we are in Cardiff the prives aren't too much different when you take in to context all the added extras of flying from a different regional airport xx

the offer of a lunch and a few beers goes out to any of you guys or gals who are planning to come over as us poor jersey competitors have to supply a marshall as part of our entry criteria. If your interested drop me a PM nearer the time or get in touch with Cath the club sec by e mail

It's not unusual for Mr Mudge to have a MK2 Escort taxi home after a National here in sunny Guernsey
Only in 09 Im dropping down a class so only 1297cc, now what was that about a barbeque . . . . . . . |

About that BBQ Bunman, u know where the old man lives, sat or sun nights he's always got a bbq lit. Tell u what John, save u the expense of fitting a back seat just take welshgal this year if u want lol.
Any marshal that is thinking of going to the Channel Islands this year get in touch with me as i'm gonna have a look at group travel if it works out to be viable???? Then hopefully I can go back to Cath in Jersey and Ian in Guernsey and let them know how many may be going over. |
