I don’t know what #10 is on. I assume it changed. But I think #01 is on new tyres as Vander Zande’s first stint was on old tyres. They let him finish the Dixon’s tyres double stint.

I am aware of that thread of safety car procedures sir. I post in that too. What we are saying is VERY relevant to the live in race talk though. It is not entertaining and my interest in IMSA has waned in the past couple years with the exception of the all GT races. The endurance races especially have gotten stale. I have not watched the race in the past hour nor even checked on what is going on. I just came on here to reply to your comment which I disagree on.

All are within sight thanks to some safety cars. Simple as that.

Evans is from New Zealand or Australia.

Did Porsche Carrera Cup or Supercup in Europe.

The impact on the race is very relevant. e.g. #10 has benefited from the last FCY.

That your interest is waning or it is terrible for the series is not. We have a dedicated thread for that so that it doesn’t ruin it for those interested in the actual race. OK.

Its stablemate is leading but the #60 has frankly been anonymous in the race so far.

I'm guessing with two hours to go they'll be right up at the sharp end.

Hmm. Looks like #01 now is on the used tires as it is all over the place.

I'm beginning to think these tires are a security issue. GTP cars are flying on fresh tires but on used ones unless you are Ricky Taylor, you beach it. That's a serious safety issue.

It’s not that long since most stopped. Only 10 laps for the leader for instance.

So do you still stop. I guess so, but no tire change if you’ve only just put them on? We’re not at the point people have done all the double stinting they need too.

24 was suggested by Hindy as running on battery power only. Guess the battery ran out

Just been looking at the lap times. Albuquerque is a lot quicker than Deletraz and a bit quicker than Taylor.

They need to make sure he has lots of fresh tires and is in at the end of the race.

I like it in theory, but if it's so hard to keep it on the black with used tires, we will see something serious happen.
