Subway Fresh 500
On Sunday, the NASCAR Nextel Cup goes to Phoenix International Raceway for the Subway Fresh 500. It’s the first-ever night race at the one-mile oval track. Jimmie Johnson and Greg Biffle remained one-two in the Nextel Cup standings, even as the rest of the top 10 suffered wild swings, blown engines and crashes last week. Rusty Wallace managed to keep his nose clean, finished tenth in last week’s race, and jumped four positions to third overall. Defending series champion Kurt Busch used a seventh-place finish to leap five places while Sterling Marlin made the biggest move using a top five finish to jump six spots. The big losers were Tony Stewart, defending TMS champion Elliott Sadler and Kasey Kahne.

Too bad Biffle had his prob or another Roush 1-2 finish was likely. Also JJ's streak of top 10's comes to an end. I'm sure we have'nt heard the last of JJ's bump on Tony but thats racing. LOL GO JIMMY GO!!!!!

Iv'e gotta say I grew to dislike Kurt by the end of last year despite him being champion as did many others. But, after Jeff put him into the wall the other week I thought he handled himself extremely well afterwards regarding the incident, he never really bad mouthed off Gordon like he could have, and like many others would have and thought it was very sporting and professional of him in the way he spoke. I have since begun to admire him a little more for that reason and also a fine drive after hurting so bad after his recent injuries as well. Kurt-perhaps your not as bad as people think!

 - to win 4 championships & 70 odd races, i suppose you cant really bad mouth someone as to be that successful you dont really make many mistakes - good on ya kurt
