International Polar Bear day does exist and it is today, are Motorbase making their final announcements today, or just celebrating the day?

Polar Bear is a character in the Crash Bandicoot series of games.
CTR is stylised as white on a red background.
Activision are rumoured to have new game out in 2020.
Maybe Polar Bear is the central character in the next game in the franchise?

Thinking its coca cola still tbh. Their mascot is a polar bear with 2 Cubs so would kind of make sense

Not saying it isnt Coca-Cola, but I always thought their mascot was Santa Claus, you ask me to think of a Coca-Cola advertising campaign and I would be thinking a long time before I thought of a polar bear and 2 cubs!

Very good spot that one, Autoglym has appeared on Motorbase cars in the past too. Especially on a Michael Caine car, so puzzle pieces could fit.

Think you will find Autoglym have been sponsorship on quite a few BTCC cars each year and for quite a few years. I still have a couple of unopened Team Aon Autoglym gift packs.

Surely I can't be the only one who assumed the original polar bear post was just a reference to walking from hibernation having been very quiet over the winter.

A good idea if like other bears, polar bears actually hibernate, but they don't.

I think those adverts were lost on me I'm afraid, its Santa Claus or at a push the "Diet Coke break" that stick in my mind.

Still I look forward to getting an egg cup full of Cola to try trackside, its a long time since we had KX stand to go and sip from between races

Used to get loads of freebies, Kaliber from Honda, Old Spice from Nissan and packs of 10 B&H from the Jordan F1 stand... Not sure they'd get away with that any more 😂

The POLAR range is more purple/pink/green like the northern lights and also I'm not sure I'd say it was a huge household name as we are expecting, although not sure if that's a just 10 Tenths rumour or fact?

I think that might have been part of the subtle message from Motorbase. We hadn't heard much from them, but they weren't hibernating.

I see to remember Tim Harvey saying that Andy Rouse’s mechanics, despite being sponsored by Kaliber, didn’t really like the stuff, so used to secretly fill their Kaliber glasses with Labbats from Harvey and Bristow’s side!

Only last year Bobby T was giving away packets of Millions sweets at Brands Final and the year before that he was giving away cans of Rio drinks all season.
