Gary Critcher should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Castle Combe on Saturday

Just a quick 'thank you' to everyone who was marshalling on Saturday at Combe. It was the first time I had been there for 4 years and enjoyed it immensely (I was in the historic FFord no.89 at the back of the grid!). Thanks to all you guys for another great job!

All part of the Service.

I have to say that Combe is definitely making real efforts "to go the extra mile" for its competitors, spectators and marshals, now that the Castle Combe Racing Club is formed.

I would say that what they are creating there is very special. Your good experience is what they are setting as the norm for the track. I would very much encourage you to support the new club by coming back as often as you can manage.

Indeed I think what Adrian & Nicki Fawdington and their team are doing is really great for the sport. So far we've had great race days at Combe this year. Well done all.

Also, Saturday was a fun day. I've found a regular Combe photographer's site and he's got all this year's events on, including some piccies of us dear marshalls.
Got a great picture of a Ginette entering the barrier at Quarry on 24th June meeting (Great & British). He was one of three that session that parked with us and my coat and box can be seen in the background, but like anyflaggie with good reflexes, I've scarpered already!
