Think Acura, AGR or Fernandez, might go as a test against LMP2s from the LMS?

I hope Acura, Audi and Porsche accept the invitation. It would be nice to see how they measure up against the Peugeot 908!

Some of the FIA-GT competitors ran the Mil Milhas a few years back. At least the PK Carsport/Carsport Holland C5R (the same car running under PK Carsport/PeKa Racing Banner this year). I remember Mike Hezemans and a few South American Drivers ran the car. It lead for a while then had some mechanical difficulties and finished somewhere around 8th or so. Maybe they should invite some of those guys to come and compete as well. Carsport Holland just showed they could take on Luc Alphand's Corvette head-to-head and give them a good whipping. It would be interesting to see Hezemans and maybe Fassler take on the Saleens.

And lets hope SPEED can work out a method to cover the race as an extension of the ALMS season too.

Having read Murphy the Bear, I wonder if there will even be an Interlagos race. Should have been part of the ALMS schedule (and not LMS) from the beginning, IMHO.

If not Speed, then I would hope TSN would think about it at least (TSN-A is fine by me). Roger's, too.

For us here in the states, IF the race is covered, we might not see it until Oct or Nov. Funny we see rebroud cast of the WHOLE FIA-GT seasons races in two months, Nov and Dec, after all the other races are done.
Challange is each one hour re-broad cast is very very poor. They spend 30 min on prep of each race, 12-15 on comercials and MAYBE 10-15 min of race coverage. Heck the TV comontators spend more time on the trials and trival info about the teams and drivers then they do about the race. |

I wonder how much faster any of the ALMS cars would be if they went and ran non-ethanol fuel?
