How do you start 125cc racing

I was thinking of starting racing but I don't know how to get involved and I don't know if theres an age limit on 125cc racing. Can anyone give me advice.

The minimum age for production machines up to 125cc is 11 years. For racing machines up to 125cc it's 13 years, but you can't compete on a racing machine as a novice.

Superteens, racing production 125 Aprilias, is a good place to start.

You'll find useful information on the ACU's website:

Find out when a local club day is and go along and have a look, find some club officials and talk to then, talk to the 125 riders as well.

You need to get an idea of the costs involved and think about how you will transport the bike, will you be doing any work the bike requires yourself or do you have someone to help you.

Most clubs will give you all the info you want and will help out wherever they can.

Yup -all clubs will help where possible!

Don't know where Burgess Hill is, but Derby Phoenix is my club and is VERY friendly and helpful (I've just done a FAQ there - http://www.derby-phoenix.co.uk/faq.html ). Also join in the chat there. We don't usually bite!

Also try www.bemsee.co.uk
