Interesting indeed.
Would be cool to see, but man, maybe they should get out in front of the BoP and not let them get a race under their belts haha. That programme already seems far enough ahead of the pack! |

Yes it would be good to see the Porsche LMDh out sometime this year. They are so enthusiastic about the project I wouldn't be surprised to see them having a little taster before entering full time

This allowance might be a gift for Porsche and even Peugeot. They should jump on it imo.

Not sure if it said LMh as well as LMDh.

it shouldn't make any difference since peugeot and porsche are still not-homologated cars

Peugeot have ruled out this year, but Porsche could make an early start if they get the homologation sorted

The WEC finale in Bahrain isn't until November so timewise it could suit Porsche very well. |

Peugeot is in the entry list for the 2022 WEC season so this annoucement will not affect them. From what it is said on the french media, it will be Monza or Fuji. As I see this annoucement, it is for Porsche. As the FIA is not the most pro-active organisation, I would not not surprise that it is a request from Porsche and they have validâte it.

Yep. Pug is also a hypercar and not a LMDh.

Good to hear a racing 911 with a proper boxer sound and the lmdh car is quite loud as well

I think porsche lmdh sounds quite loud and aggressive, 919 sounded terrible... something in the middle between a late '00 turbodiesel lmp1 and a dyson vacuum cleaner.

You can find any good sport-car sound on 19bozzy92's channel, but let's stay in the topic.

I do prefer the traditional engine note of a Porsche 911. That always makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up

Up to 4 cars available next season for privateers. But they have to be sponge worthy.
