Doesn't it seem sad that drivers like Fisichella, Coultard, Barrichello, and Ralf all have secure seats in F1, despite having had race winning cars for many more seasons than Jacques, yet failing to chalk up as many wins as he (let alone a WDC) that it is Jacques who doesn't have a drive in F1??? Sad indeed. |

I thought it would be about Webber
Actually, Button has impressed. Given how far behind Fisichella he was last season, it makes you wonder if the decision by flavio Flave to replace the Roman with Trulli was a good one. Button is certainly on the path towards redemption and the question posed recently on this board about Renault's drivers for 2003 is going to be answered, "Button and Alonso". |

If you think about it, Trulli hasn't really made much of an impression since Austria 1997.

Yeah. he's a good driver, Trulli. Usually gives Jenson a run for his money, certainly in qually, but he never has the luck in the races. Two quality drivers.

Kimi, Webber, Ralfie...
Jenson has been fantastic this season. I TOLD you it was the car's fault last season, but nooooooooo. Well, ha ha ha ha ha. And Jarno is a quality driver too - Renault have themselves an extremely strong pairing. |

I thought Ralf as well...but of course Button still deserves to be mentioned. His performances so far this year have been excellent, although to be fair to Trulli, Button has had the lion's share of the reliability. We haven't really seen what Trulli can do yet, and there is probably more to come from Button as well.

Trulli still cannot do a competative race distance yet, why did he go to Renault? yes he is quick at times but not got it right in the race yet.

Yeah that was a disappointing race from Trulli after qualifying. Button once again brings home the bacon for Renault.
I still reckon Renault's driver line up is pretty weak though. Fisichella and Villeneuve/Alonso would have been a much better pairing IMO. |

Button's star is certainly shining. Im beginning to question whether Trulli has what it takes but I'd like to reserve judgement since the season is still young and I still think Trulli can rise to the next level..but he better get his act together soon...

OOOOHHH NOOOOOO!!
Here we go.Suddenly jenson is the messiah again. The reason he was so slow last year was from a variety of reasons.NONE of which had to do with him"losing his ability" Then"suddenly finding it again" This kind of talk REALLY ****es me |

Well I'm not shy of sticking the boot into button-nose, but lately he has been very impressive. Keep it up, and Frank may be seriously looking at you.

I would have said Fisichella as well, but the awful car disguises his abilities. Plus the fact he barely got anywhere in the race....
How he must be dreading the rest of this season... |
