1992 Paul Evans MBR Ralt rt35 1993 Jamie Spence Bowman Racing Bowman 393! 1994 Duncan Vercoe DAW Racing Dallara 393 1995 Martin Byford Zspeed Dallara 394 1996 Simon Wills Zspeed Dallara 395 1997 Martin O'Connell Rowan Racing Dallara 395 1998 Phil Schifleet Rowan Racing Dallara 396 1999 Martin O'Connell Rowan Racing Dallara 398 2000 Gary Paffett FGR Dallara 399 2001 Robbie Kerr FGR Dallara 399 sorry not sure about previous years. One point to note is that a class b/scholorship class champion has ever won a race overall when they have moved onto class A. Best overall race finish by a class b car was by Martin O'Connell 2nd at Donington Park in 1996, howeveer in 1992 Hilton Cowie was leading for several laps until his tyres went off. |

from memory 84 Keith Fine 85 Carlton Tingling 86 The techspeed guy? Sean Walker was it? 87 Lyall was second, winner was aghhh... brain hurts 88 Alistar Lyall? Yeah defo he ran a Swallow 873 Reynard 89 90 91 Was it Pekka Herva? we bought his car when he was leading the championship as I recall. Nah stuck - anyone know a site that can help?? 92 Paul Evans Working on the F3 gearbox project at Hewland Engineering 93 Spence had a unsuccesful year with Duma Racing in F3, dropped before the last meeting. 94 Vercoe Clios in 2001 in attempt to restart career, ni wins 95 Byford Clios in 2001 with family team, won races. 96 Wills Two time formula holden champ in aus/nz moving into aussie v8 series? 97 O'connell FIA sportscars with Rowan and driver coach at Diamond in F3 98 Scifleet ???? Avoiding forest fires near sidney?? 99 see 97 2000 Paffett German F3 possibly F3000 in 2002 2001 Kerr Class A in 2002 with ADR Again this was all from memory, not checking reference books etc, so many appologies for any errors or omissions. |
