Balfe Motorsport looking at P2.

Scuderia Ecosse also looking at P2, apparently

Sam Li wants a factory program. I'm somewhat surprised that his name was never mentioned in any of the Aston Martin talk.

I woudnt bet on Scuderia Ecosse getting a LMP 2, unless they have some major backing I dont know about. Why? Well because they are reportedly buying 2 Ferrari 430's.

I read somewhere, possibly Autosport, about Scuderia Ecosse indeed getting their hands on the Ferrari 430. Only question is where they were going to race it, as British GT may be unlikely...?

Was in MN they were looking at P2, but wanted to keep links with Ferrari.

The 430 may just be for BGT, IF theres even going to be a GT2 class!

Of course there will be a GT2 class, I dont see any reason why numbers will be down any further than they have been this year, especially as LNT will be back at times with their Panoz. But this is a topic for another thread.

Wow, thats news to me! But very good news, Id expected Lister to contest a full LMES season next year but never the ALMS. 2006 is looking very strong both for the LMES and the ALMS, IMO.

Well, not entirely true. Lister is evaluating running either or Both series. It is not a 100% done deal yet, but they will be most likely be running in one of the two.

Story Here

It's better for them to focus their efforts on the LMP than continue on with the aging GT car. But the Storm should live on in national GT series. Take heart and smile!

How can I smile when the one national championship it won't be visiting is the only national championship I'm likely to see! lol.

The Storm has given me some great personal memories over time, but here's hoping the LMP proves to be a great success.

If there wouldn´t be still any customer interest in C65´s I don´t think Courage would have built this chassis.

that photo there shows that its the LMP1 hybrid, not the LMP2 C65 (unless Courage converted the C60H back to a C65).. But its definatly chassis nr 5.

Why do you think it´s a C60H ? O.k. could be parts of the bodywork of a C60H, as it looks like the Advan Le Mans car, but as the C60/C65 tub is the same, it´s possible that it´s now a C65. Customer interest will be bigger for a C65 than for C60H.

yes, i have heard that its easy to convert back and forth. So it could be either, but for sure its chassis 5 (which was run as a C60H this year at Le Mans)

Are you sure? Do you have a shot of the number plate? I´ve no record for chassis #10 for 2005. Maybe it the chassis than run g-Force after the LeMans crash.

If you compare the Le Mans # 13 Courage and the one on the Infocourse pictures you can easily see that´s there are some differences. The Courage which run at Le Mans hat two air intakes instead of one and also outlets at the side pods.

So it´s definetly a C65, maybe a new one or the converted LM #13, but not a C60H any more.

Isn´t the #10 one of the Noel del Bello LMES cars ?
