Bahrain G.P.
A friend of the family who knows someone that works for Shell has been asked if she and her daughter want to go to Bahrain and watch the G.P. from hospitality. They asked me if i wanted to go as they have no interest in motorsport whatsoever (always the way). They are in the process of looking at flights etc. but i have heared a few bad reports (facilities wise etc.) What do you think, did anyone here go? It would make a nice change to Silverstone but i'm supposed to be going to New Zealand before Christmas so i don't know if it will be a waste of money? What do you reckon? One more thing (and this could sway it) will it be a scorcher?! Thanks in advance guys and girls........Russ.

I have heard pretty bad reports about it from people who went. The coach drivers got lost, toilets weren't great, the circuit is in the middle of know where. Generally only the facilities for the teams are good, for spectators they are rubbish. But that is what I heard...not what I have experienced as I haven't been.
Hot it shouldn't be. Average max. is about 29c and Average low is about 22c Alex |
