CARTs new chassis
Has anyone heard the specs for the new chassis for next year? I heard it is an IRL style. Will they also use Dallara or G-Force chassis? I would be cool if Eagle could return as well. The eagle chassis was very kool, just needed a little more development. Also with all the cost reductions what will the team operating budgets look like? I know team is about 6 million US per car now as per what Barry Green told me. It would be nice if is came down to around 3 miilion so more teams could move up to CART. Super 7 lotto is 17.5 hmmmm... that would keep us going for a few years.
IRL is just fender challenged NASCAR ;>) |

these were the order of plans that CART made
1) An IRL style chassis powered by a 3.5 litre NA engine 2) A current CART chassis modified to accept a 3.5 litre NA engine 3) revert to the current cars, with CART chassis and 2.65 litre turbo engines |

And that's the best bit about the rules Jordi. No change so we can expect the same level of action/excitement until then.
