I think they need no pay drivers.
At Le Mans I think maximum 3 drivers, but Spa 24h 4 drivers.

I believe I saw a few four driver teams at Le Mans last year. I'll have to go look to be sure though. I know the Daytona grid this year was littered with four-driver teams.

I looked, didn't see any four-driver teams from Le Mans last year. It was a quick scan though, so I may have missed it.

I'm pretty sure the Le Mans regs don't allow for more than three drivers per car

What an awesome site! Jeeee, I guess I should contact those guys soon. Their workshop is not too far from my home. I would love to see the car from close by.

Has anyone any info on what Luchinni, Promec an the other SR2 manufactuers are up to.

A number of them said they would be building LMP2 cars.

No, but sincerely, the concurrence is hard this year... they'll have to pull their fingers out, and seriously...

This Corvette (driven by Marc Goossens and Franz Lamot) is prepared by Selleslagh Racing from Patrick Selleslagh. The Carsport Belgium project of Patrick Selleslagh and Patrick Slaus is cancelled.

Any chance of any Corvette turning up in the LMES.

GM seems to have completely missed the boat when it comes to selling customer cars. There must be 8 or so Prodrive 550s racing now, with the Official 575GTC also coming close to that number in less than a year on sale.

Yes, I thought that, too. Chevrolet should have picked a good European sportscar team - someone like DAMS - and made their European semi-works squad, then tried to sell more Corvettes.

Another one from Autosport - Liz Halliday will not drive Synergy TVR in the LMES, she has signed up to do Grand Am with The Races Group

How big is the market for Corvettes in Europe though? I think if they had a semi-works team it ordipends if they are sure it will sell their cars, but if it was a totally private entry then I don't see why they have not sold more of their year old cars to private teams.

Well I have to say I was a little dismissive about Corvette road cars before the C5-R arrived, so they would do well to campaign some in the LMES and beat some Ferraris to improve there European image.

They should team up with someone like DAMS for a customer program.

Jag - Dams have a deal in place with Care Racing to race Ferrari 550's. With assistance from Prodrive.

For LM only isn't it, with Labre for the LMES?

Not sure, havent heard any confirmation that a deal is in place with Labre for the LMES. Could well happen though.

Since the collapse of the Corvette C5R being run by Racing for Belgium , someone should grab that car and fast !!!

Autosport reported 2 weeks ago that a Labre deal was 99% certain, while DAMS would run at LM.

The only question is who will get the Care deal for the LMES as there are a number of interested parties. I don't care who runs the cars as long as they are there.

Maybe nobody will - Id have thought that a deal would have been done by now if this was the case. Time is running out, both for Care Racing and any potential teams, then of course they have to assemble suitable drivers.
