You can turn of the tracking in the TAC app and only use it to show QR.

Thank you Anyopenroad and MR2, just downloaded the TAC app and uploaded my QR codes. Apparently the app creates a new QR code, so it indeed might come in handy come wednesday morning.
I disallowed the app all permissions on my phone and will only use it for the new QR codes that it generated. |

Oh ********** started to get things ready for next week and found my passport expired 30th June 2021, frantic efforts and long phone call with passport office but not way of getting it sorted in time, so looks like i will be watching the race in the UK probably with Helen, Paul, Ian and Margaret in north london. I am to say the least very annoyed with myself for not having looked at my passport since June 2019.
Best laid plans of mice and men but no one but myself to blame. |

Only appointments before the start of the race were Belfast on saturday or Liverpool on Wednesday so neither practical. So i am well and up the creek of poo, but no one but myself to blame

More disappointment, i have just had an email reply from the ACO and my favourite person there Helene has now left the ACO, more bad news for me as she was my source of tertre Rouge tickets

Do sorry to read this Simon, you were the only one here whom from the beginning of all the covid sh!t never lost faith to actually attend, no matter what and now this??. I hope you will find a solution.

Well would spend the next few days trying but unfortunately i have to get up early tomorrow to drive 250 miles to devon for a funeral and then back on Thursday so not really much chance of getting it sorted, but as said i had all the time in the world over the last year but failed to check my passport.

Well on the advice of Bella and BJohnsonsmith i went in again about an hour ago and just like magic a spot appeared on saturday, so filled in the digital application and after about 20 attempts for Helen and her digital photo skills they accepted a very strange picture of me, so off to london on saturday morning with all fingers crossed. Cost a fortune but who cares i could be going now

Hi everyone,
Paul here - I'll be GT6's driver for this year's Le Mans adventure. (he encouraged me to join the forum). I'm so glad he got a passport appointment, hopefully they'll sort him out so I'll have someone to talk to on the drive down! |
