Not a lot of rain so far, a bit of sunshine this morning too - but it's very cold - colder than yesterday IMO. (Which matches well with the stinking cold I've gained since Friday morning..... ;(

For what it's worth the forecast says dry for the first half of the race and wet for the rest, although probably (hopefully!) not this wet.

It started raining just as the cars began their green flag lap and a half. Got very wet indeed. I gave it best for just over an hour then retreated...... Tomorrow is another (hopefully better) day. But be warned, there may be more sun but the prediction is for strong winds - tshirts and shorts at your peril!

Pretty much the same, though I was sheltering in a grandstand opposite the main pits. Nevertheless, gave up at 4pm and came home - very cold, but with a red face: wind blast rather than sunburn!

As I left, so many cars were going off in the wet, I'm wondering if any will make it to the finish?

I gather it was red flagged? Although the weather down the road in Buckingham has eased a lot - hardly raining at all now. Trouble is it was just soooo cold.

We had the wind-blasted faces yesterday and today. My face looks as though I have sunburn!

God it's been COLD for 2 days. Add in TISWAS Torrential weather, and it bodes well for things unravelling in the 6 hours this afternoon...
I was relieved to bump into Walter at teh FIA tent today. Turns out he forgot my phone number! DOH!
