If Rahal Letterman also submitted a request, I would think they'd get a call, plus at least 1 Schnitzer BMW. I would be surprised if there were 3, unless, of course, ACO dumps the GT1s.

We run the risk this year of having to go without some pretty good teams.

Surely Dirk Werner as he is a BMW works driver now. Dirk Müller is likely too, maybe another of the US-boys as well.

I think a 1+1 scenario is most likely with Auberlen, Hand, Milner, D. Müller, J. Müller and Priaulx split between the 2 cars.

Does Priaulx have experience in Endurance? He did race at the Nurburgring last year. He is the touring car king of BMW of course so it would be strange to not see him there.

You're leaving out guys like Dirk Werner and Uwe Alzen.

I wouldn't be surprised if Dirk was in the RLR and one of the above joined Jorg and Andy in the Schnitzer car.

May I remind everyone that this is the 2011 BMW thread. There is a dedicated thread as always on the subject of 2010 Le Mans entries....

BMW's what next

Tell you what guys , I just got back from Eastern Australia, and the word is they have got their fingers deeply into the
V-8 Supercar pot. 2 cars were entered in and won convincingly the Bathurst Enduro {not the Bathurst 1000} this week.
I would love to see someone like them or Porsche get back into the Le Mans series with an LMP-1 car {and ALMS}
If ACURA can do it, why not BMW???
I tip Brabham's ACURA to spoil some big parties this year
cheers
