The predictions competition is now CLOSED with 64 entries - 4 more than last year. Thanks to everyone who entered. Results on my return from Le Mans.

Having done all the math (as Chuck Dressing would say!), I'm pleased to announced the results of the predictions competition for Le Mans 2009.
1st Place - PascaLM - 293 points Pascal correctly identified the pole car, was very close on the pole time, and correctly identified the 2nd and 3rd place cars. 2nd Place - acox93 - 270 points 3rd Place - Cougar - 255 points Here are the full results -
It seems that the slower pole time plus the unerring faith of large numbers in the ability of Audi to always win Le Mans - particularly Kristensen, McNish and Capello - rather let a lot of you down! Well done PascaLM! |

As much as I tried to get close to the pole time (I was certain for Sarrazin), I chose the podium without thinking. I just imagined that TK, McNish and Capello couldn't win once again ! Thank you Ayse for having closely followed these predictions, you were very reactive. |

Oh dear, my entry was awful!
I went for the highly unlikely tactic, and failed. Miserably. |
