IMHO it's asking for trouble going on these events, it's bad enough going on small owner's club drives (or should I say 'small drives with owners club'?) or making the trip to Le Mans with mates, it's too easy to get drawn into driving excessively.

On the other hand, if I had a Fezza in the garage (not that I've even got a garage) and could afford the fines then I'd probably take a different view.

If you can't afford to trot through Europe with lots of super rich Ferrari driving nutters, and you're concerned about the legality of it all, there's always the 2004 Hannibal Run...

I took a bunch of pics of a similar event when it passed through Tulsa this spring. The One Lap of America travels for circuit to circuit and competes in events of differing disciplines and is hosted by Brock Yates of the original Gumball Rally fame.

They spent the morning at Hallet Motor Racing Circuit, a 1.7 mile technical road course, and then went to Tulsa Speedway and did time trials on the dirt oval. I've got some pics online at http://www.geocities.com/kcactionphoto

Unfortunately I missed most of the exotics on the track. But did get to see the patriotic liveried Lamborghini Countach, a Porsche 935 slant nose, a Porsche 911 ex-Supercup racer, and a Mallet Sledgehammer Corvette boasting 650 horsepower.
