Since we've been talking about the weather, finally summer came to Finland. It's about +24 c now. Two weeks ago I wore a knit cap early in the morning.

We've had some rain tonight down on the south coast (a few spots, anyway). That clearly means that the rest of the sunshine is now being held in store for the week beginning 9th June.......

I guess this dumb American is going to have to start getting ready to try to convert celsius to fahrenheit on the fly so that I can at least get an idea of the temperature.

All I know is under 20 is cool, 20-30 should be nice, over 30 is warm, and over 40 is way too hot!

Today it was 72 for me, which in celsius would be hotter than $hit!

20(68f) to 25(77f) is good, over 25(77f) is considered to warm for LM. 30(86f) is hot.

Forget formulas. Use the rule of thumb...
If your thumb is cold, put on a jumper.
If your thumb is happy, stay as you are.
If your thumb is hot, remove it from the fresh coffee.

Don't worry, when it's good I'll even beleive a one years forcast. Everyone likes to talk about the weather and everyone thinks something about the forcast. It's just fun.

Once in a tv show here both an actual meteorologist and a regular person made forecasts for the next week. The regular person made it based on absolutely random things, like just throwing dices and coins. Then after the week they compared which one's forecast got closer and gave points for accuracy... the regular person's "forecast" won.
