Sports Today Dale Coyne Racing will test Portugese Andre Couto in their Champ Car in an upcoming test. Couto's father was approached while he was testing for a Formula Nippon drive in Japan. Couto is anxious to get his career kick started and is eager to impress the team.
Couto was a winner at the Macau F3 Grand Prix. |

didnt he compete in f3000 this year, if i recall his results were pretty ordinary

yes he was in F3000 this year..im not sure of how he went ..but I have seen him drive at the Macau F3 GP a few times and in that class he was quite impressive..i would like to see more of him so i hope he does arrange something with Dale Coyne.

Does anyone know a contact for Andre? I think he used to have a website andre-racing.net but I can't get on it. Please email me with any info you might have. I worked in F3000 in 2000 and really want to get in touch with him.
