Mexican driver Mario Dominguez was hoping to debut in CART at a track he could call home, but the deal to race for Zakspeed/Forsythe fell through at the last minute. However Dominguez was picked up by 2000 champion Pac West Indy Lights team to fill the seat of Scott Dixon and partner Rookie of the Year Daniel Wheldon. They could make a very tough team to beat this year. He is an upcoming talent and should prove that he deserves the seat.

does this mean there will be only 1 zakspeed/forsythe in mexico......what happened to krumm/tielmann

Bryan Herta and Marcel Tiemann will drive for Zakspeed/Forsythe. Michael Krumm will drive for Dale Coyne Racing.
