Seems Kat Legge has been confirmed for Schmidt and will be changing from 99 to 81. Means we should have some bumping tomorrow. Hopefully we get going here shortly.

Know what you mean. They always seem to put on a good show though
on race day. Hope they have at least one bump for some excitement.

That would be something if Dinger hangs on for pole.

Will Buxton seems to be doing a good job on pit lane. Gil on the other

Actually doesn't seem like too bad a crowd there considering the weather. The terraces in turn 1 have quite a number of people in them. You could hear them getting into it when Helio went over 228.

Simply an amateur hour by Indycar and NBC. So sad that IMS pole day 9 car shootout for pole is now of smaller importance than a 30 min pre-race for a 5 min horse race.

I thought it was going to be a 90 min session with every one getting one run and then if u want to go faster take a shot with max of 3 runs..I understand running late cause of weather..but why give time for top 24 qualifiers when they have all day sunday to qualy and cut short ..hello "pole day" when no one got to see the pole runs on tv???

Agreed, brutal. And we even had 5 hours of coverage in Canada today lined up. Missed the Fast 9 session. Tomorrow we have another 5 hours but who cares? Bump day with no bumping is not worth wasting a Sunday on. There's the Nurburgring 24 instead.

for me Indy qualifying is all about speed..the fastest u will see race cars go on a track. who is the fastest and who will try! qualifying at Indy is the second best moment in racing..racing in the INDY 500 being the first! I just think the tv coverage sucked ..the online streaming was great from Indycar.com all week for happy hour, but if u want the few tuning into NBCsports it was a waste..I watched all day,but i wanted to see pole day at 4:30..

Munoz continues to impress...he prove he's able to be fast not only in pratice and in tow, but also in qualifying...will he able to manage a complicated race like the Indy 500?

Munoz maybe the real deal. He is quite young. Nice storyline.

I remember scanning Nigel Mansel at his first Indy . After
bouncing off the walls a few times he told his crew chief
Jim McGee, "ok, I will do as you say".
