Two cars! Derani in trouble again. Him and an LMP3 car off. The LMP3 car got going.
Looked like it was stuck, but it got going. Blast, just after they called the yellow. very frustrating. Edit: he just got caught up in the LMP3 spinning. Needs a new front end. Back end not great too? |

I think Hindy is correct about flexibility. When they started to slip back, they should have changed their plans and pit for tires.

I like the idea of staying out, but they was really slipping.
Was the spin someone else's? I must have missed that. Then maybe they were not as bad off as I thought then. |

What about the black and orange flag? Is that counted as a mandated emergency stop, or can you do any work on the car you want?

I guess if you are given that and have to come in then it is. They were talking on RLM that if they voluntarily came in it would count as emergency, so I guess with it would be the same with the flag.

Doonan is understandably, but frustratingly, being non-committal on the subject of MSR's Daytona penalty. It almost sounds like there was an agreement between IMSA and the manufacturers over the penalties applied.

Hindy often claims Doonan is straight speaking, but in my ears this time and all the times he has been on Midweek Motorsport, he speaks total political language. He talks a lot and say absolutely nothing!
