Final BRSCC NW meeting(This Year) at Oulton Sept 18th

The final event from the NW centre looks like a cracker!

Here's the provisional timetable

Karts are always interesting even if I can't follow them and I just hope there's a decent grid for the TVR's

Good these Public Library things.
Welcome back to TT
Don't build your hopes up regarding entries. At present they stand at :
TVR 8
Fiestas 12
Ford Saloons 15
XR Challenge 12
K+N Filters Sports Saloons 14
NW FF1600 29
It'll be interesting to see how they stack up on the day.

I'm getting used to watching karts at Oulton after seeing them on the International circuit with both of New Era's (bikes) visits; which series is it that's competing?

Last again eh.

That'll lead to a bunch of unhappy XR drivers ...

Also, at this meeting, will be tickets on sale for a very special 80's evening taking place in Northwich on 25th September raising funds for Cancer Research. Pit marshal Paul Kelly is the 'ticket master' the poster will be up in the pit office window. Would be good for a last get together for us BRSCCNW guys.

Mainly against the Old Hall tyre wall - after all they do have all winter to rebuild them!

I try to get me and my cameras away from the last lot of tracks left in the grass at Old Hall, but they still keep aiming for me. The entry list certainly looks like a possible crashfest.

Bugger, seems like there might not be any tickets left. Has anyone got a spare they can either send me or leave at the gate?

We had a really good day in the Pit Lane for our final BRSCCNW meeting. Thanks to all the Pit Lane Marshals for helping me along this season and being so professional and I hope to see them fit and raring to go again next season. Blue Nose. Thanks for Mickey I forgot to return him when the sun came out! Don't forget there is an 80's night this Saturday in aid of Cancer Research looks like it will be a good night! If interested let me know.

The slogan on my car (No4 Pre87 FF1600) backfired on me in more ways than one on Saturday. My driveshaft broke after a couple of laps of practice and I freewheeled to the back of the Cascades post.
It was p***ing down and one of your jolly band gave me his gloves and told me now was my chance! I was slow to enjoy the joke!

Glad you got it fixed for the race - though we probably could have done with your help on the bank too!!

Very interesting day and photographer friendly too. FF's were very entertaining with decent grids and good racing. Managed to capture Mr Murphy's car launching itself over Mr Whites after the spin. Thank you NW for a really great day, enjoyed by all I think.

What was all this arm waving about then?

Does not come out at all well in this sort of reduced size, plus it was taken directly into the sun from the exit of Old Hall.

Well, I think I'm the one on the far right. I didn't realise I was so close to David Murphy. Great photo - and the others on your website
