Stone-kicker should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
The Donington GP?

Whether or not the GP moves to Donington or not, things will look very different up there.

Seems a distinct lack of activity

According to the 'local' TV news, Donington have until tomorrow (Friday), to prove to Mr E, that they have the financial backing to complete the whole project. This is another extention, the financial details should have been in place at the beginning of the week.

Anyone holding their breath.

There seems to be lots of soil moved around but no actual construction I would have expected to have seen at least some progress with the new pit area and maybe even a bit of track.

christ no, the earthworks stage is the longest stage of ny project....usually takes us 18 months to construct a duel carriageway from scratch, about 16 months of that is the earthworks stage. the building of the track and buildings will take very little time in comparison to the earthworks. IF donington have the money id expect to see tarmac on the ground at the end of feb and the buildings about 4 weeks after that.

Can I remind you that unless the discussion is marshalling related, the thread for discussing the GP at Donington is here.
