If A1GP was anything to go by, they'll use the unchicaned layout, thankfully.
Am I correct in saying that this will actually be run as twin 500k races, rather than a single 1000k race? I'm sure the economy is having an impact, but I wonder if at least some of the teams are particularly concerned about tearing up equipment given it's a new track for them, and that the event is more of a double sprint format. |

Only 35 compared to the 51 entrants @ Spa! No Reiter Lambo ! Pity cos it looks brilliant!

No Reiter Lambo in GT2 is a shame. Only two entries in GT1 but good to see Melo is back in the Team Modena Ferrari.

Hans Reiter has already said that the GT2 Gallardo program is suspended, and that the 'old' GT1 Murcielago is likely out to pasture.

How long ago was Spa? It might've been only two and a half months but it seems like a lifetime ago. |

Just saw Eurosport TV guide & there's good TV coverage, when I say that I mean better than the Spa coverage! The 1st hour & a half then the last hour & a half so 3 hours of coverage!

If that does not work, hover over your selected choice, right click your mouse, select properties, then select all, then copy. Then go to your address bar and select it (right click) and paste the url in the address bar then hit go, or whatever you have as a command key for the browser. L.P. |

One thing I was rather enthused to see was that, by the spotters guide, only one of the Ferraris is actually red.

It was running as a tech testbed car, generally in partial spec only, looking for buyer interest. There was none. The development work has paid dividends for the new GT3 though, so resources have been directed to it instead (3 sold already, projected 7-10 further 2009 sales). Makes sense! The upgrade kit will be available, of course, but it does seem sensible to put the development emphasis on the bigger earner, especially with the new GT1 already being a limited-income proposition unless other series without a max car count per model adopt the spec.

Quite disappointing entry list, 34 cars has to be the lowest number for a LMS race to date, right?
I don't think I´ll be renewing my Eurosport player subscription for this, given that we´re getting three hours for free. |

This track is favoured by the Ginetta-Zytek's. Strakka Racing currently 0.2secs quicker than the Pesca in FP1 & Quifel LMP2 is 1 second quicker than Speedy Lola-Judd!
